We’re pleased to announce that our Voice AI receptionist officially went live with Taylors Legal last week.
Rather than being cautious about AI’s role in client communication, Taylors Legal recognised its potential to handle inbound calls in an intelligent, calm, and professional manner. Working closely with Collaborative Conveyancing and CCAI, the Essex-based firm has now launched its own Voice AI receptionist, which manages hundreds of calls on behalf of the firm each day.
Built to support legal teams, the Voice AI receptionist handles inbound calls intelligently and consistently, ensuring callers are supported from the moment they get in touch, while protecting valuable team time.
The agent is able to determine staff availability and manage all incoming calls seamlessly. When a team member is available, calls are routed appropriately; when they’re not, the agent steps in to take messages, escalate queries to the relevant person where needed, and provide helpful, accurate information to callers. Every call is answered with no queues, supporting a smoother and more consistent client journey while reducing interruptions and saving the team valuable time.
Lindsay Petzer, Head of Partnerships at CCAI commented on the launch:
“I’m really proud to see this go live with Taylors Legal. From our initial meeting through to launch, the Taylors team have been fantastic to work with. Huge credit also goes to our talented team, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for launch. This collaboration has resulted in a Voice AI receptionist that genuinely supports both staff and clients.”
Michael Mercer, CEO of Taylors Legal, added:
“For me, this is about having a ‘100% pure receptionist in the truest sense of the word’. Every call is dealt with properly, messages are captured clearly, and there’s a trained response when someone’s unavailable, so we’re no longer missing calls or leaving clients in queues. It’s already proving to be a far more cost-effective way of handling calls and enhancing performance. AI is here to stay, and working with the team at Collaborative Conveyancing and CCAI has been a genuinely collaborative experience from start to finish.”
We thank the Taylors Legal team for their partnership and feedback, which helped refine the agent for natural use within their firm.
In a recent industry report, 78% of legal firms are now using AI to assist fee earners, with Voice AI emerging as one of several effective options to protect teams, support operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. This launch demonstrates how Voice AI can be applied practically within the legal sector, enhancing the client experience while fitting seamlessly into day-to-day operations.
